Buy to let deal of the day

Fox and Sons have just put this lovely ground floor flat, part of a Victorian semi-detached villa, with private patio on the market at £270,000 on Dyke Road. Less than half a mile from Preston Park station.

Second bedroom a bit small but should rent for around £1150/£1200 per month with a fair wind, giving an annual yield of at least 5% at the asking price, but you could even try offering £260,000.  You never know!

Eye candy 2 bed flat within easy reach of Brighton

Nice ground floor (or only slight below ground floor) flat, this one and is my vote for eye candy of the week.    You won't need to do any work to it other than a quick repaint if you don't like lilac bedrooms and, if you did want to let it out, then you would be looking at around £1300 per month possibly more), which, even if you paid the full asking price (and nobody pays that do they) of £299,950 for it, would give you a yield of over 5%,

It's got 2 good sized bedrooms, a modern bathroom and kitchen, a reasonable lounge and a sweet garden.  Check it out and watch this space be cause I don't think it will be around for long!

Brighton eye candy property of the week for biz executives

This 2 bed flat in Regency Square has just come on the market and I don't think it will hang around for long.  It's on for £300,000 with Fox and Sons.   It's not huge - the second bedroom and the living room are on the small side - but I can see this being let to a business executive who wants it mainly during the week instead of paying a fortune for Monday to Thursday hotel accommodation.  I'm sure he'd be willing to pay £1350 to £1400 for a flat like this in such a great location.  Just opposite the sea, close to restaurants and right in the thick of it all.

Westbourne Street, Hove BTL deal of the week

Super raised one bed flat just come on the market yesterday with King and Chasemore at £200,000.  Great area, close to shops, restaurants, the sea and walking distance to both Aldrington and Hove railway stations.  Have a look at the internals  http://www.zoopla.co.uk/for-sale/details/39549120 and, although the double bedroom is a bit on the small side, the flat is a little sweetie. I don't think this will be around for long.

You should get £825 to £850 per month for it which means a yield of over 5% depending on what you buy her for.
